An 8 day Cuckoo clock. Where do the connecting wires connect from the movement to the bellows and bird?
I have been asked to refurbish an old 8 days "Dead Hunters cuckoo". Unfortunately several pieces are missing. All connection son went to be those of my stock wire.

Thief in the night
In the early morning hours on March 27, someone broke into our garage and stole two antique clocks: a Black Forest cuckoo clock and a wind-up chime pendulum wall clock.
We were having a garage sale that started March 26. During the morning hours of the sale on Thursday, a man in his 20s about, 5-foot 6-inches tall, with black facial hair, possibly a beard and black hair was looking at the cuckoo clock with great interest. When he left, he said he would be back with his girlfriend. Well, he never came back, at least not during the day.
When we went out to open up the garage on Friday, the first thing we noticed was that there had been someone here, and the clocks were missing. They were the only things taken, and the person or persons who took them had to have known exactly where they were in order to come in and not knock anything over. They had to know what table they were on. There was no one else here on Thursday that showed the slightest interest in them.
I can't say that it was this man, but I'd like to say that I hope whoever it was that they enjoy them. To do this is mean and heartless. I hope you can live with yourself. They were out there for sale to give us some extra money to help my disabled husband and me with expenses.
We ask if anyone saw anything suspicious in the early morning hours of March 27, or if you know of someone that has shown up with the clocks or tried to sell them, please contact us. We have put in a report with the Vermont State Police. We would just like them back with no questions asked. Just return them.
